Tapping, or EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), is a simple emotional release technique where we gently tap specific points of the body with the fingers while focusing on an emotion, thought or difficulty that concerns us. Through this process, the body and mind begin to relax, helping us reduce tension, anxiety or emotional charge. It is a gentle way to come closer to what we feel and manage it with more acceptance and calm. Through conversation and specific tapping practices, we focus on what concerns you and try to identify the source of the problem or the emotion that has been activated. In a gentle and safe way, we give space to what you feel so the intensity can soften, the emotion can become lighter and more calm, acceptance and inner relief can emerge.

“I quickly felt at ease with Margarita and that I could trust her. Her response was intuitive and sensitive to what I was feeling. I did not feel in any way judged when trying to express the issues or situations I was experiencing. The EFT therapy was exactly what I needed and Margarita always found the right words to speak as I tapped. Now, at the end of four weeks of sessions, I feel easier, calmer and more able to deal with difficult issues. In fact, thanks to the therapy, I have been able to talk about something I’d been very apprehensive and stressed about, with my partner.”

EFT, also known as Tapping, is a stress-reduction technique that combines focused attention on a specific issue with gentle tapping on acupressure points on the body. Its purpose is to help reduce emotional distress and support greater emotional balance and wellbeing.
EFT is commonly used to support people experiencing stress, anxiety, fears, emotional challenges, limiting beliefs, low self-confidence, and everyday life difficulties. Each person’s experience is unique, and results may vary.
During a session, we focus on a specific emotion, thought, memory, or situation while gently tapping on a series of points on the body. Many people report feeling calmer, more grounded, and less emotionally overwhelmed after the process.
No. You do not need to believe in EFT or have any prior experience with it. All that is required is a willingness to participate in the process and observe your own experience.
EFT is generally considered a gentle and non-invasive technique. However, it is not intended to replace medical, psychological, or psychiatric care when such support is needed.
The number of sessions varies depending on your goals and the issues you would like to address. Some people notice positive changes after only a few sessions, while others prefer ongoing support over a longer period.
Yes. EFT can be practiced effectively both in person and online through video sessions.
During your first session, we will discuss the issue you would like to work on, identify a clear focus, and guide you step-by-step through the EFT process in a safe and supportive environment.
Only to the extent that you feel comfortable. EFT can often be used without needing to discuss every detail of a difficult experience.
EFT can be used by many people as a tool for emotional wellbeing and personal growth. If you are experiencing significant mental health or medical concerns, we encourage you to seek support from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
EFT is not psychotherapy, although it can support emotional wellbeing and personal development. EFT focuses on reducing the emotional intensity connected to a thought, feeling, memory, or situation through the tapping process. Psychotherapy is a separate professional discipline with different methods, training, and goals. EFT is not intended to replace psychotherapy, medical treatment, or mental health care when these are required. Many people choose to use EFT on its own, while others combine it with psychotherapy or other supportive approaches.
None of the practices offered at Inner Glow replaces medical diagnosis, treatment or psychotherapeutic support, nor is discontinuation of any treatment recommended; they work complementarily, with the aim of self-awareness, emotional release and personal empowerment.
